Quotas in the economy

If several people have a joint business, the quota is called the proportion of each of them in general.

In the case when the country exports or imports goods, then each of them includes quantitative restrictions in the form of quite specific quotas. As for imports, the quotas are entered purposefully in order to ensure that local producers remain competitive and drowned in the fight against the dominance of cheap imported goods. The industries in which such a quota is introduced is a significant advantage and probability of obtaining higher profits.

Quota as an immigration limit

We all know that in more prosperous in the economic and political attitude of the country are constantly departed for earnings and searching for a better life, people from less prosperous states. However, not all countries are ready to adopt an unlimited amount of migrants. Therefore, on the entrance, work and accommodation there is a limitation - a quota.

But it costs it.

Usually quotas are issued for complex surgical operations, which subsequently require complex rehabilitation therapy and a long rehabilitation period. This requires significant funds that are sometimes absent in the patient. The state takes on a significant part of the costs.

There is a law, which says that if the employer has more than 100 employees in his state, he is obliged to allocate from 2 to 4% of places for people with disabilities. For them, special conditions must be created that will allow them to perform their work without obstacles and difficulties. For private owners and government agencies, the staff number can be only 35 people.

In general, the word "quota" has a rather widespread value in its definition, to interpret which is necessary, solely on the basis of the context of the application of this concept.
