If you are damaged by any system files or files on flash cards and USB media, you will need R Studio. This software is aimed at restoring the missing system files for the full performance of a carrier: hard disk, USB drive, memory cards, or an external hard disk. Download and install R Studio

  • Downloading the program available on the official website http://www.r-studio.com.. Go to it and choose your operating system in the right window.

  • On the next page, click "Download for ..." and save the installer.

  • During the installation, in addition to the most banal procedures, you will see such a window. It warns you to install the program on that disc that you are going to restore is not recommended. This applies to all recovery programs, and not forget about it.
  • If you want to restore your hard drive, click on the "Parameters" button to read the instructions for changing the hard disk.

  • After the installation is completed, you need to click "demo", since the full version of the program is paid.

  • On this installation R Studio is over. You can use all the functions of the program.

How to scan discs in R Studio

The uniqueness of the program is that it is capable of restoring files even in a long formatted disk, or in a disk to which the format was changed at all.

On the left you will see a complete list of all media connected to the computer. For example, you will perform a local hard disk scanning.

  • Press the device with the right mouse button and select "Scan" in the drop-down window.

  • The scan setup window opens. In it, you already know new data on your disk, for example, if in the "Disk size" line is zero, then most likely your disk is defective at all.
  • Leave the settings without changes and click "Scanning".

  • Behind the course of the scan, you can follow in the right window. Gradually, color markers will appear in squares, all color decryptions can be found at the bottom of the screen.
  • Do not touch the program as possible while scanning is performed. Do not run applications and browser, better leave your computer and take on other things.

How to restore files in R Studio

After scanning, you can restore all the files found by the program.

  • Left will appear new sections. One of them is called "signatures found by signatures". Click on this section to see what you managed to restore.

  • The folders will be displayed in the form of a directory by clicking on any of them, you will see its contents to the right.

  • Find those files that you need and click on them with the right mouse button.
  • In the list that appears, click "Restore".

  • Set the recovery settings based on your goals. Then click "yes."

  • Select a file saving directory. Please note that it is not recommended to save files to a damaged disk.

  • The procedure will take only a few seconds, the recovered files will immediately appear in the specified directory.
  • Note that the demo version has a lot of restrictions on the number and volume of recoverable files.
